In Nigeria for example, we have some open universities such as The National Open University of Nigeria which at present has 67study centers. ........................................................................ Gone are the days when people had to pass through 'hell' to gain admission. In a situation whereby students will have to follow protocols before becoming a student in any conventional university which could appear very frustrating and time wasting incase of(JAMB and post UME me) is not found in the system. IN THE INSTITUTION, YOU ONLY NEED A SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE LIKE WAEC TO GAIN AN ADMISSION. ........................................................................ Also , Ono cannot be deprived of a course choice. YOU DO NOT NEED CONNECTION OR BRIBE BEFORE YOU CAN ACQUIRE ADMISSION. ........................................................................ Studying in open university give students time for other engagements . A working class person can acquire any certificate if his choice without quitting the job because the system is flexible. . ........................................................................ The course materials /textbooks for open University students are written by qualified professionals and any certificate bagged from the institution is llegitimate. ........................................................................
